Water Damage inside the walls

This customer had a water line break in their attic, which caused water to run down inside their walls.  The water caused the latex paint to detach from the drywall, which is visibly damaged.  Our experienced crews quickly removed the damaged drywall, removed the wet insulation and installed commercial drying equipment to remove the excess moisture from the wood studs inside the wall.  The after photo shows the area was clean and dry so repairs could begin.  Knowing when to dry the drywall and when to remove the drywall takes training and experience.  If wet insulation is left in the wall cavity, there could be further damages from prolonged saturation like mold and dry rot.
