Fire & Water Damage to a Kitchen

This customer had a fire in their Kitchen which was put out by a garden hose.  The customer saved their house, but that resulted in significant water damage to their Kitchen cabinets.  The customer did not know what to do so they call our expert team at SERVPRO.  Our crews responded quickly, so the water did not cause further damage.  After removing the excess water, the crew inspected the damaged cabinets and discovered they were made from particle board.  The particle board cabinets were not restorable, but the drywall behind it was.  Our crews carefully removed the damaged cabinets and dried the drywall in less than 24 hours.  The performance of the crew allowed the customer to stay in their home and match a replacement cabinet to the rest of their Kitchen.  The customer was very happy they did not have to move out.
