Oven fire in Kitchen

This customer had their oven catch fire in their Kitchen, which caused black soot to travel throughout most of their home.  The homeowner trusted the experts team at SERVPRO to take care of their home.  Our experience crew responded quickly since the homeowner wanted to stay in their home during the cleaning.  First, the crew professionally removed the damaged Kitchen cabinets, so the soot would not further cross contaminate the rest of the home.  Then the crew removed the heavy amounts of soot from walls and ceilings that still needed to be sealed and painted.  Then the crew cleaned the walls, ceilings, floors and air ducts that were lightly contaminated with soot, so no odors would remain in the home.  The homeowner was very happy with the work provided and would be happy to refer SERVPRO to anyone that could use our professional services.
